About Me

Hi, I’m Brennan—and I believe leadership is all about relationships. It’s not about titles or power; it’s about adding value to the people around you, investing in their growth, and building meaningful connections that inspire success.

More than anything, I value time with my family—my wife, Brennan (yes, same name!), and our two amazing kids, Bria and Grady. They are my greatest motivation and joy. I also do my best to take care of myself through a few miles on the treadmill or nearest gravel road. I believe leadership starts with leading yourself well, and that means prioritizing personal growth, wellness, and balance. When we show up as our best selves, we can better support those around us.

I currently serve as an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Minnesota State University–Moorhead. My current work allows me to engage with and support future leaders as they prepare to make a meaningful impact in schools and communities.

I’m proud to have served as a teacher and held several leadership positions, including Assistant Director of Special Education, High School Principal, and Elementary Principal. Today, I continue to support educators and leaders through speaking, coaching, and consulting work — and I still coach a little baseball to stay connected to the roots of leadership and teamwork. Whether in schools, on the field, or in the community, I care deeply about helping people grow, lead well, and build cultures they’re proud to be part of.

I hold licensures in elementary education, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, emotional behavior disorders, director of special education, K-12 principal, and district superintendent.

I hold an EdD in Organizational Management, and I’m passionate about helping others grow—both personally and professionally.
